SlideNerds privacy policy

SlideNerds is an npm package that runs entirely on your local machine and your own deployment infrastructure. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

What we do not collect

• No analytics or telemetry in the runtime or CLI
• No network requests to our servers
• No user tracking of any kind
• No cookies, no fingerprinting, no session recording

What runs locally

The SlideNerds runtime runs in your browser. The CLI runs on your machine. The skill files are static markdown installed to your project directory. None of these components communicate with external services.

Your deployment

When you deploy a deck to Vercel or another hosting provider, the hosting provider's privacy policy applies to your audience. SlideNerds has no involvement in the deployment or hosting of your presentations.

Third-party dependencies

SlideNerds depends on open source packages from npm. These dependencies are listed in the package's package.json. We do not control the behavior of third-party packages, but none of our direct dependencies collect user data.

Analytics in generated decks

The CLI can optionally inject analytics providers (Google Analytics, PostHog, Plausible) into generated decks. These are opt-in features that you configure explicitly. The analytics data goes to the provider you choose, not to us.
