Common questions
What do I need to run Note Nerds?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
No. You can type directly on the page and use your finger to sketch. Apple Pencil adds pressure-sensitive handwriting, highlighting, and shapes.
What paper types can I choose?
Blank, cream, grid, dot, legal, daily planner, and weekly planner.
Can I search my handwriting?
Yes. Search covers notebook names, typed text, handwriting, PDF text, and tags. Recognition runs on your device and leaves your original ink alone.
How do I get a notebook onto my other device?
Turn on iCloud sync. Notebooks then stay available across your iPhone and iPad through your own private iCloud account.
What can I export?
PDF, PNG, or an editable Note Nerds file that opens on any of your devices.
What does Notion publishing do?
It sends a restorable copy of a notebook from your device directly to the Notion workspace you choose. It is optional and off until you connect a workspace.
Does Note Nerds track me?
No. There are no ads, no analytics SDK, and no tracking.
