Overview

Note Nerds is a notebook and drawing app for iPhone and iPad. Your notebooks belong to you. This policy explains how Note Nerds handles your data.

Data collection

Note Nerds has no ads, no analytics SDK, and no tracking. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers.

Your notebooks stay on your devices and in your private iCloud account when sync is enabled.

On-device processing

Handwriting recognition and search indexing run on your device. Your ink, typed text, and imported files are never sent to us for processing.

iCloud sync

When you enable sync, your notebooks move between your iPhone and iPad through your own private iCloud account. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern that storage. We have no access to it.

Notion publishing

Notion publishing is optional and off by default. When you turn it on and connect a workspace, your device sends restorable copies of the notebooks you choose directly to Notion. Nothing passes through our servers. Notion's privacy policy governs the data once it arrives in your workspace.

Your control

You have complete control over your data:

• Turn iCloud sync off at any time to keep notebooks on a single device
• Disconnect Notion at any time to stop publishing
• Delete Note Nerds to remove its local data from your device

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or our website. The full policy is also published in the Note Nerds repository.
