Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using MCPBar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

License grant

Strategic Nerds grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MCPBar on your Mac for personal or business purposes.

Description of service

MCPBar is a macOS menu bar application that helps you manage and interact with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. The application runs locally on your Mac and does not require an internet connection to Strategic Nerds servers.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your Mac meets the minimum system requirements
  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • Configuring and managing MCP servers appropriately
  • Complying with the terms of service of any MCP server providers you use

No warranty

MCPBar is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the application will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

We make no warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy or completeness of any information
  • The results you may obtain from using the application
  • Compatibility with all MCP server configurations

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategic Nerds is not liable for any damages arising from your use of MCPBar, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Service interruptions
  • Compatibility issues with MCP servers
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Third-party services

MCPBar allows you to connect to third-party MCP servers. We are not responsible for:

  • The functionality or availability of third-party services
  • Any changes to third-party APIs or services
  • Data handling by third-party services

You should review the terms of service of any MCP server providers you use.

Updates and modifications

We may update MCPBar from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We may also modify these terms. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

You may stop using MCPBar at any time by uninstalling the application. We may discontinue the application or restrict your access if you violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
