Acceptance of terms
By installing or using Command Center, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.
Description of service
Command Center is a free, open source Chrome extension that replaces your new tab with a personal dashboard. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no account to create and no Strategic Nerds server in the middle. It shows your clocks, weather, work items, and the feeds you connect.
License
Command Center is open source. The source code is released under its license on GitHub. See the repository for details:
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your own tokens, keys, and account credentials secure
- Following the terms of service of any service you connect, such as Google, Notion, Linear, GitHub, and Todoist
- The settings and connections you choose to add
Acceptable use
You may not use Command Center to:
- Break the terms of service of any service you connect
- Attempt to access data that is not your own
- Misuse a connected service's API
No warranty
Command Center is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error free, secure, or continuously available. We make no warranties about the accuracy of the data shown, since that data comes from the services you connect and from public sources.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategic Nerds is not liable for any damages arising from your use of Command Center, including data loss, interruptions from the services you connect, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Updates and modifications
We may update Command Center and these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Termination
You may stop using Command Center at any time by removing the extension from Chrome. That removes everything it stored.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
