Common questions
Where does my data go?
Nowhere we can see. Command Center runs entirely in your browser. There is no Strategic Nerds server in the middle, and no account to create. Your settings live in Chrome, and your keys, like a Linear token or a Notion secret, sit in your browser's local storage and never sync anywhere.
How do I connect Google Calendar, Linear, or Notion?
Open the edit pane and add a card for the tool you want. Google Calendar signs in with Google's own flow, so we never see a password. For Linear and Notion, paste the token or secret you create in that tool, and Command Center stores it in your browser's local storage.
How do I remove a connection or a saved key?
Open the edit pane, find the card for that connection, and remove it. That clears the saved token or secret from your browser's local storage. Because nothing was ever synced to a server, deleting it from your browser deletes it for good. To clear everything at once, remove the extension from Chrome.
Is Command Center really serverless?
Yes. Command Center is a Chrome new tab that runs in the browser, with no servers and no account. You connect the tools, your keys stay on your machine, and we never see your data or know who you are.
Why isn't a card showing my latest items?
Each card refreshes on its own schedule. Reload the tab to pull fresh data. If a card stays empty, open its settings to confirm the connection is still authorized, since a Linear token or Notion secret can be revoked from inside that tool.
