Common questions
How do I connect to Linear?
Click the LinearBar icon in your menu bar and select "Connect to Linear." You'll be prompted to authorize LinearBar with your Linear account.
Why aren't my issues updating?
LinearBar refreshes data periodically. You can also manually refresh by clicking the refresh button in the menu. If issues persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Linear account.
Where is my Linear API key stored?
Your Linear credentials are stored securely in your Mac's Keychain. We never have access to your credentials.
Can I filter which issues are shown?
Yes, LinearBar allows you to filter by team, assignee, and status. Access filters through the settings menu.
How do I disconnect from Linear?
Go to LinearBar settings and click "Disconnect." You can also revoke access from your Linear account's security settings.
