FutureNerds is a school operations platform for Montessori programs. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Data we collect

Depending on your role (administrator, teacher, parent, caregiver), we may collect:

• Account information - Name, email address, and role details
• School and classroom data - Classrooms, schedules, rosters, and enrollment records
• Student and family data - Child profile information, guardian contacts, emergency details, and authorized pickups
• Operational records - Attendance, observations, milestones, lesson plans, and communications
• Billing data - Invoice and payment metadata (payment processing handled by Stripe)
• Usage data - Product interaction data used to improve the platform

How we use your data

We use data to:

• Provide and operate the FutureNerds platform
• Support classroom, communication, enrollment, and billing workflows
• Authenticate users and enforce role-based access controls
• Improve reliability, security, and product quality

We do not sell personal data.

Data storage and security

FutureNerds uses Supabase for database and authentication services, with controls including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest
• Row Level Security (RLS) for tenant isolation
• Access controls based on school and role

Third-party services

FutureNerds uses third-party providers including:

• Supabase - Data storage and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• Stripe - Payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
• Vercel - Hosting (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

Your rights

You may request to access, export, correct, or delete your data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Children's data

FutureNerds may process student data provided by schools and guardians for legitimate educational operations. Schools are responsible for obtaining required parental/guardian permissions and complying with applicable laws.
